Sam's Club To Start Accepting Visa Credit Cards

Jan. 20, 2016

Visa Inc. and Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. announced that Sam’s Club locations will begin accepting Visa credit cards starting Feb. 1, 2016.

“Everything we do is in an effort to better serve our members and extend the value of membership. By accepting Visa credit cards, we are giving our members more ways to shop that are convenient for them,” said Tracey Brown, chief member officer at Sam’s Club, in a statement.

Sam’s Club currently accepts Visa debit and prepaid products at its clubs, as well as Visa credit at its fuel stations in the U.S., and online at Samsclub.com. Later this year, Samsclub.com will also begin supporting Visa Checkout.
