Pennsylvania Gun Range Installs Ammo Vending Machine

March 5, 2015

Beaver Valley Rifle & Pistol Club located in Beaver Falls, PA, is home to an ammunition vending machine. The vending machine dispenses a variety of rifle and handgun ammunition and is operated by Master Ammo Company.

The Beaver Countian reports the company’s owner saw a demand for non-jacketed ammunition and took up the opportunity to offer the product for sale via a vending machine. The company’s owner plans to install more machines in other gun clubs.

However, there is some concern surrounding the machine. The sale of handgun ammunition to individuals under the age of 21 is unlawful, but the source reports that the vending machine has no features to authenticate the age of the user. Membership to the gun club is open to individuals 18 years of age or older.
