Vending Manufacturing Jon Ford Runs For Indiana State Senate

April 28, 2014

Jon Ford of All State Manufacturing is a candidate for Indiana’s Senate District 38.

Ford, a member of the Indiana Vending Council, says his strong record of leadership, coalition building and getting results at All State Manufacturing will serve him well in the State Senate.

“I am gratified to have a wonderful groundswell of support from my family, colleagues and friends,” Ford said in a prepared statement. “I am enjoying connecting with the great people in our community.”

“As a third generation manufacturer I understand the needs of manufacturers and small business owners,” he continued. “If I am elected to the State Senate, I would be one of the very few people that understands what it takes to produce a product, manage a P&L [profit and loss statement] and to distribute a product across the country. Currently there is not one manufacturer in the State Senate.”

Ford, a current member of the Honey Creek Township board, has an extensive record of public service on several community non-profits. He has served as chairman of the Indiana Arts Commission, president of the Swope Art Museum and president of the Indiana Leadership Forum. He has also served on the board of directors for the Indiana Manufacturer’s Association, Leadership Wabash Valley and the Vigo County Youth Soccer Association. He and his wife reside in Terre Haute with their twin sons.
