OSC business veteran Tom Steuber heads NAMA's new board of directors
Tom Steuber, president and owner of Associated Services, will serve as chairperson for the board of directors for the National Automatic Merchandising Association for the 2024-2025 term.
"I am honored to serve as chair of the NAMA board of directors," said Steuber. "Together with my fellow board members, I look forward to advancing the interests of the convenience services industry, promoting innovation and supporting the growth of all NAMA members."
Steuber has extensive experience in the office coffee services industry. He has received NAMA’s 2021 Coffee Legend of the Year award, an honor his father, Hal Steuber, also won in 2011. Steuber's vision has significantly influenced industry standards, particularly through concepts like the pantry service model.
In addition to Tom Steuber, new officers include Patrick Moran, Moran Refreshments, as chair-elect; Michael Schwartz, Nestlé Professional Solutions, as vice chair; Scott Halloran, Trolley Hospitality Companies, as secretary/treasurer; and Lance Whorton, Imperial, as past chair.
New NAMA board members include Boris Amegadjie, 365 Retail Markets; Mike Hoeft, Bunn; Patrick Sheehan, Sheehan Brothers Vending; and Arthur Siller, Evergreen Refreshments.
"Today marks an exciting chapter for NAMA as the association welcomes Tom Steuber as chair and a slate of new directors to its distinguished governing body," said Carla Balakgie, President and CEO of NAMA. "Their extensive experience and track record as leaders in convenience services is a significant gain for the association’s work on behalf of the entire industry.”
The 2024-2025 NAMA board officially began its term on July 1.
