Proposed Connecticut Bill Would Allow The Sale Of Alcohol Via Vending Machine

Jan. 17, 2017

A proposed bill in Connecticut would allow the sale of alcohol from a vending machine, reports WFSB. The bill would reportedly allow bars and restaurants, that are authorized to sell alcohol that’s being consumed on-site, to have a vending machine that serves wine, beer and liquor.

To ensure a legal purchase, the user of the machine would need a government issued ID that matches the name on his/her payment card.
