Erwin Wetzel has joined the European Vending Association as regulatory affairs manager. He is both an Austrian and French national, he speaks German and French at native speaker level, and is also fluent in English, with conversational level Spanish. He studied law at the University of Nancy, to further expand his education and holds two master's degrees, one in political science from the University of Innsbruck, and a master's of arts in European political and administrative studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium.
Wetzel has had several professional experiences, assisting members of the European Parliament, and the Committee of the Regions. He has also worked for Austrian local and regional governments in Brussels and in Austria.
