While skim/low fat milk and whole milk continue to lose unit sales, flavored milks are seeing an increase, according to Dairy Foods. Flavored milk/eggnog/buttermilk unit sales were up 6.5 percent for the 52 weeks ended Nov. 1, 2015, reports the Information Resources Inc. (IRI) in Chicago, IL. Dollar sales were $1.4 billion. Whole milk also shows signs of promise as the unit sales rose 3.6 percent, even as the dollar sales fell 1.3 percent to $4.7 billion.
