Six Vending Machines With Unique Offerings Installed At Rockefeller Center In New York City

The New York Post reported that six vending machines offering unique items have been installed at the tourist-heavy Rockefeller Center in New York City. Simply called "The Vend," these vending machines offer edible options such as gourmet sandwiches, salads and cookie dough, and non-edible items including clothing, shaving kits, and even an engagement ring. The Vend is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is not unattended as retail associates are on-site. The items have been curated to appeal to shoppers who need items early in the morning or later at night after other shops are closed. The fresh food in the vending machines is delivered by Proper Food every morning, and items not sold by 10 p.m. are donated to charity.
