Upstate Networks, Inc. announces its latest PC-based vending application: PC2ASD, which utilizes the keypad input to interface a touch screen computer with existing vending equipment. It is ideal for original equipment manufacturers and for those who are developing unique vending applications.
The PC2AS, is a Alternative Selection Device, that replaces the keypad on a vending machine with a PC based interface. This allows the PC to control the item selection process. It is used in PC controlled vending machine products when it is desirable for the customer to make the item selection using a touch screen or smart phone interface instead of the traditional keypad.
The PC2ASD™ is sold with a hardware interface cable, software and source code. Source code contains the instructions necessary for a programmer to configure the PC and control the dispensing spirals of the vending machine. The interface is USB and includes a full API.
