Betson Enterprises is making several strategic moves to strengthen its role as a partner for operators, including a new Nebraska office, an expanded technical training program, a major family entertainment center buildout, and its annual Northwest Amusement Showcase in Portland this week.
Betson is set to host the Northwest Amusement Showcase (NWAS) in Portland on September 19, bringing together operators, manufacturers and distributors in the amusement, vending and family entertainment industries for hands-on product demonstrations, networking and education. The event is positioned as a one-stop opportunity for operators to evaluate the latest equipment and connect with industry leaders.
Elsewhere, the company opened a new office in La Vista, Neb., extending its reach into a growing skill games market. Betson, with offices already established in Illinois, Pennsylvania and Georgia, will introduce dual-screen multi-game cabinets to local amusement operators. The Nebraska office also will serve as a hub for Betson’s full line of amusement, vending equipment, and parts support.
“This expansion isn’t just about growth for Betson; it’s about providing new entertainment options and revenue opportunities for local businesses,” said Todd Cravens, president of Betson Gaming, in a statement.
Betson also is expanding its Betson Technical University (BTU) program. The new curriculum features three training tracks designed to help operators minimize downtime and optimize game room performance. BTU Core provides a two-day certification course; BTU On-Site brings trainers directly to customer locations for group training; and BTU Wellness combines classroom learning with live repair support.
“A well-maintained game room is the foundation of a successful entertainment center,” said Rob Zigmont, vice president of operations at Betson Enterprises.
Betson’s recent moves highlight its continued investment in new revenue opportunities, technical training, and turnkey entertainment solutions that can help operators seeking amusement solutions to complement vending, micro market and foodservice offerings.
