Specialty Vending Machines To Include Upgraded Biometric Finger Scanners

American Green vending machines will be getting upgraded biometric security thanks to a new partnership with M2SYS, reports Find Biometrics. M2SYS will provide American Green with its M2-FingerVein technology by the end of this year, which detects the vascular biometric profiles under the finger's skin. According to the source, these can not be obscured by cuts or dry skin which affect surface-level fingerprints. The M2-FingerVein technology is meant to provide American Green's clients assurance that their products, from "coconut water to beer to cannabis" are properly administered.
