Franke EcO3Ice Keeps Ice Machines Cleaner, Reduces Contamination Risk
(October 19-21, 2016) – Franke Foodservice Solutions, leading provider of comprehensive foodservice systems and services, is pleased to showcase their antimicrobial ice protection system, EcO3Ice, during the NACS Show, October 19-21 at the Georgia World Congress Center in booth #7061.
EcO3Ice is a compact, low-power device that continuously treats incoming water used by ice machines to dramatically reduce microbial build-up, including bacteria, yeast and mold.
With each cycle, EcO3Ice creates a small, safe and effective amount of pure ozone that continuously kills microbes and inhibits growth in the machine's interior, storage bin, remote bin and drains. EcO3Ice attaches quickly and easily to the ice machine's incoming water line and runs silently and automatically, cutting the frequency of professional, deep cleanings by half. It’s the only such device for ice machines that keeps, not only the ice making area clean, but also remote storage bins and dispensers clean as well.
EcO3Ice features LED indicator lamps to show the system’s status and notify the user when the removable cartridge should be replaced. The twist-on electrolytic cartridge lasts about 6 to 24 months on average. Users can choose from two models, based on incoming water flow rate of the ice machine. EcO3Ice is designed for cuber-style ice machines only and has a one-year limited warranty.
