Downers Grove, IL-based Elkay, a leading manufacturer of drinking water products, reported that its one millionth bottle filling station recently rolled off the assembly line.
The one millionth ezH2O bottle filling station, introduced in 2010, will be installed in Elkay’s hometown of Chicago at Garfield Park this summer.
Over the past 10 years, the ezH2O units have reportedly prevented more than 40 billion plastic bottles from ending up in landfills. Click here for infographic with additional stats.
Elkay said it has continued to enhance the ezH2O bottle filling stations with such enhancements as hands-free operation designed for hygiene and ease of use; NSF-certified filters that reduce lead and other contaminants; and LED filter status lights.
These attributes have helped to instill trust in water consumption.
