G&J Marketing And Sales Announces Changes In VP Of OCS

PALM HARBOR, FL / November 1, 2019 – G & J Marketing and Sales announced changes in its leadership team to take effect January 1, 2020. Ken Shea, G&J’s VP of OCS will be stepping into a special projects role for G&J and other industry companies. Through his hard work, commitment and dedication Ken has been an integral part within G&J for the past five years in growing their presence within the OCS marketplace.

Replacing Ken Shea as VP of OCS is longtime industry executive Howard Chapman, former President of Royal Cup’s OCS division.

Chapman will be responsible for growing G&J’s OCS lines. Chapman will build on his partnerships with industry leading OCS providers, to offer these products, thru G&J’s national sales & marketing network, through their extensive list of customer relationships.

Chapman played an integral part in Royal Cup’s growth during his 27-year tenure, particularly with respect to its Office Beverage Division. Chapman joined Royal Cup in 1992 as a district manager of the Georgia Office Coffee Region. He then led an extraordinary national expansion for Royal Cup’s Office Coffee Division into Florida, Texas, Arizona, Colorado and the Midwest. He served as Vice President & Division Manager prior to becoming President of the OCS division in November 2015. At the company’s request, Chapman remains with in a strategic advisory role to assist its sales team until the end of 2019.

Throughout his distinguished career, Chapman has received various awards, including but not limited to Office Coffee Operator of the Year by the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA), OCS Operator of the Year by the Automatic Merchandiser Magazine, Outstanding Associate of the Year by the International Facilities Management Association, Atlanta Chapter.

Chapman is the chairman emeritus of the Board of NAMA. He also previously served as chairman of the NAMA Coffee Service Committee and co-chair of the NAMA Positioning for Growth Capital Campaign.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Howard and his wife Brenda live in Birmingham and are the proud parents of two children and four grandchildren, with a fifth due in February.
