Nestle promises a major expansion plan in the U.S. in the next three years, Patrice Bula, the company’s marketing director, told Financial Times. This challenge falls upon the company’s incoming chief executive, Ulf Mark Schneider, who assumes his role on Jan. 1. Expanding Nespresso is reportedly at the center of the company’s U.S. coffee strategy.

In the U.S. Nestle faces competitor JAB, the company that earlier this year acquired Keurig.
