Baton Rouge, La. (November 20, 2014) – At an awards ceremony held yesterday during BRAC’s (Baton Rouge Area Chamber) Big Think, a part of Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week (BREW) 2014, BRAC honored Pod Pack International, LTD along with five other Baton Rouge Area-based companies as part of its Baton Rouge Area Companies to Watch program. Endorsed by the Edward Lowe Foundation and sponsored by Postlethwaite & Netterville, Companies to Watch honors second-stage companies who have moved out of the startup period and into a period of growth.
“The six companies honored stood out among a group of very strong applicants and highlight the strength and diversity of the Capital Region economy. The selected companies have experienced tremendous growth and are innovators in their fields,” said Adam Knapp, president and CEO of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber. “Honoring these outstanding companies was a great ending to a full day of events celebrating entrepreneurs and startups. These companies have successfully moved out of that phase and into a period of growth, providing inspiration and knowledge to those in our region aspiring to do the same.”
