Corporate Coffee Systems LLC (CCS) announced the acquisition of Classic Coffee Systems Ltd., of Valley Stream, N.Y. from co-owners John Malizio and Charles Chiarello.
Established in 1980, Classic Coffee Systems is a well-respected OCS operator admired by customers, employees and the OCS industry for its commitment to the coffee-break experience with a personal touch, according to the release.
David Henchel, president/CEO of CCS said in a prepared statement, “As a premier provider of workplace coffee and beverage solutions for almost 30 years, we are seeking to strategically expand our loyal customer base and further strengthen our business in the important Metro New York market.”
This important and synergistic integration provides CCS the opportunity to tap into the knowledge and experience of this highly successful operation. The acquisition, combined with the chance to work with Malizio and Chiarello, two of the most experienced operators in the OCS business, as well as many of their talented and dedicated employees, positions CCS for future internal and external growth.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
