News.Com.Au reports that a study from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology suggests caffeine could play a major role in weight loss by targeting a "lazy" part of an obese subject’s brain. In the study, obese mice experienced suppressed appetites and were more active after being dosed with caffeine. Scientists do warn, however, that since mice were given the human equivalent of 30 cups of coffee, the link is still in its early days.
