In a recent article from The New York Times, cold brew coffee has been driving a surge in demand during warmer months at a much faster rate than other iced coffee drinks. According to the author, "coffee sales spike when the mercury rises. Cold brew is also attracting an entirely new audience for coffee: Millennials, many of whom are making it their drink of choice." The fact that cold brew is so popular, and sells well in the summer months when hot coffee would lag for OCS and vending operators could make it a profitable variety to offer.
