SodaStream International Ltd. announced its results for the three and twelve month periods ended Dec. 31, 2013. For the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 2013, revenue increased 26.4 percent to $168.1 million from $132.9 million in the fourth quarter 2012. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) decreased 45.2 percent to $5.9 million from $10.7 million, and adjusted EBITDA decreased 31.4 percent to $8.7 million from $12.6 million in the fourth quarter 2012. Net income was $0.7 million compared to $7.5 million in the fourth quarter 2012, and adjusted net income was $3.5 million compared to $9.4 million in the fourth quarter 2012. Diluted earnings per share were $0.03, compared to $0.36 in the fourth quarter 2012 and adjusted diluted earnings per share were $0.16 compared to $0.45 in the fourth quarter 2012.
For the year ended Dec. 31, 2013 revenue increased 29.0 percent to $562.7 million from $436.3 million in 2012. EBITDA increased 13.4 percent to $62.2 million from $54.9 million, and adjusted EBITDA increased 19.9 percent to $73.2 million from $61.1 million in 2012. Net income decreased 4.2 percent to $42.0 million compared to $43.9 million in 2012, and adjusted net income increased 6.0 percent to $53.0 million compared to $50.0 million in 2012. Diluted earnings per share were $1.96, compared to $2.09 in 2012 and adjusted diluted earnings per share were $2.48 compared to $2.39 in 2012. Full report.
