Elkay adds touchless countertop beverage dispenser to Smartwell Collection

Water dispenser maker Elkay has introduced the Smartwell Touchless Countertop Beverage Dispenser. The newest unit in the company’s Smartwell Collection prepares and dispenses custom beverages in a handsfree way by using either a touchscreen or mobile device.
The countertop dispenser gives employees and facility guests access to hands-free hydration that is hygienic and sustainable, according to Elkay.
Designed to fit under standard kitchenette cabinets, the unit does not take up valuable floor space. If clearance and counter space is limited, Elkay offers an optional cabinet that can be purchased separately to serve as a stand and storage for the extra flavor and enhancement pouches.
The dispenser’s touchless activation allows users to create custom beverages and view nutritional information from a mobile device. Users can download the mobile app, scan the QR code, make selections and dispense.
With more than 70 custom beverage options, the countertop unit can hold up to four fruit flavors at once (10 total flavors available), including raspberry, lemon and peach, as well as natural sweetener and enhancements such as Vitamin C, electrolytes and caffeine.
