Costa Coffee said it will be trialing a line of coffee machines across selected locations in Bristol, England.
The new Costa Express Hot & Iced Drinks Machine, according to Costa, is the "world’s first integrated self-serve coffee machine, reinvented to deliver both hot and iced drinks."
With more than 500 different hot and iced drinks from which to choose, customers can opt to have their favorite latte, cappuccino or flat white as a hot or an iced variety. The machine also prepares iced mochas and iced vanilla lattes made will Costa's popular Mocha Italia blend.
The Costa Express Hot & Iced Drinks Machine also offers iced fruit cordials. Costa predicts its strawberry and lime flavors will be well received by patrons looking for a cooling-off option in the summer heat.
Over the next two months, Costa Coffee will be placing the new machine in more than 40 Costa Express locations in Bristol. For every purchase made at a Costa Express machine, customers can collect points using an app.
