Pepsi Orders 100 Tesla Electric Semi Trucks

PepsiCo has joined the list of companies willing to try the new Tesla heavy-duty trucks that could replace diesel, according to Reuters. The company intends to use the Tesla Semis for snack and beverage shipments and direct to retailers within 500 miles. These vehicles would be added to the fleet of nearly 10,000 semis, but also a key part in PepsiCo's plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reports the article.
