Concession Services Inc. (CSI), a Chicago-area vending and OCS product distributor, held its annual open house recently at its 100,000-square-foot distribution center in Alsip Ill. Pete Leuzzi, vice president, said more than 80 suppliers were represented and between 400 and 500 operators attended.
“This is the best show we’ve had,” said Leuzzi.
CSI has been holding a regional show every other year for the past 12 years, according to Edith Leonian, owner of CSI. This was the third show at the Alsip location.
More than 1,000 pork chops were ordered and cooked on site for the event. According to Leonian, the pork chops are a special treat attendees ask for year after year. “People love them,” she said.
CSI expanded into its present center from its Michigan Avenue location in 2000. The Michigan Ave warehouse was converted into office space.
