The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted Starbucks to pick up speed on its strategic plans to specialize its stores to improve customer service, the company reported in its latest SEC filing.
CNN reports that the coffee chain is planning to close as many as 400 stores in the U.S. and Canada in the next year and a half. The company is also planning to open about 300 stores that will solely provide carryout and pickup service.
